International Toast
Barbara Baily proposed a toast to the Rotary club of Milano East with reference to the Winter Olympics.
The President while retaining some traditions of the club is moving to embrace the movement in Milan's economic, social and cultural changes.
 
Members Moments:
As it was Terka’s 18th Birthday last week and it was celebrated in lots of ways with lots of people, we all sang Happy Birthday, we're glad you had a great time, Terka.
* Will Waterford spoke about Membership and stressed how important it is to the club and it is up to the whole club to bring new members.
* Suzanne and Will are going to approach shops for prizes for the ROMAC trivia night and the Xmas Trailer raffle. 
   Don't forget to get your tables of  8 friends together, for the ROMAC Trivia Night!
* Les Pontin is doing the sleepout for the homeless again this year
* Ross Harrison is currently in the Philippines to meet with Dan and get the paperwork signed for the Teachers accommodation.
 
 
Bronwynne introduced our Guest Speaker, Isabella Buckland, who was our National Youth Science Forum participant and was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Glasshouse Country Glasshouse Country (52572) | District 9620 and the Rotary Club of Caloundra Pacific.
Isabella had an amazing time, over a period of 9 days with 230 other students.  Looking and learning from such places as QIMR Berghofer, School of  Chemistry, Valley workshop looking at the design of vehicles, Boondall Wetlands and CERN and ITER global teams.  
 
David Johnson did the Riki Tiki and asked only one question and our Guest, Robyn Perrin won! Well done, Robyn, first time ever that this has happened!
Peter Asher did a wonderful Sergeant's session with plenty of money raised.
The Raffle was organised again by Greame Bowden and won by heaps of people but not Will W .
Peter Asher closed the meeting at 7.35 pm.
