Invitation to tour USC Moreton Bay campus

Event: Rotary Visit to USC Moreton Bay Campus

Overview:  The Moreton Bay Region has the lowest tertiary participation rates in Australia but USC is aiming to change this through its new state of the art campus at Petrie. Join together with fellow Rotarians, USC staff and the Head of Campus, Professor Karen Becker, to learn about the vision for the new USC Moreton Bay Campus followed by a campus tour. The combined Rotary Clubs of the Sunshine Coast have a long and important partnership with USC through the Rotary USC Community Fund (RUSCCF) which was established in 1996-97. Over the past 25 years, the RUSCCF has contributed more than $200,000 to support over 60 USC recipients with a Rotary Postgraduate Scholarship.

Joke of the week
Teacher: "Kids, what does the chicken give you?"
Student: "Meat!"
Teacher: "Very good! Now what does the pig give you?"
Student: "Bacon!"
Teacher: "Great! And what does the cow give you?"
Student: "Homework!"

A child asked his father, "How were people born?" So his father said, "Adam and Eve made babies, then their babies became adults and made babies, and so on." The child then went to his mother, asked her the same question and she told him, "We were monkeys then we evolved to become like we are now." The child ran back to his father and said, "You lied to me!" His father replied, "No, your mom was talking about her side of the family."
